Covid Vaccination in the community – schedule of clinics

Covid Vaccination reduces serious illness and death in the most vulnerable populations

Our Covid Vaccination Clinics are underway – starting with the most vulnerable older patients. The scheduled clinic dates are:

26th Feb age 85+,  12th March age 80+, 26th March age 75+ and 9th April age 70+

We will contact individuals by text message when it is their turn to attend. For patients who need help we will be contact their nominated friend / family member. Our clinics will be run along the same lines as our very successful 2020 seasonal ‘flu clinics.

The next phase will involve those age 16-69 who are at VERY HIGH RISK or HIGH RISK of Covid disease due to their medical problems, or medication. When we hare given a start date for this phase we will contact individuals by text message to invite them to book in.

It will help with the administration of this important phase if patients are familiar with the HIGH RISK and VERY HIGH RISK categories – they are on https://www.gov.ie/en/publication/39038-provisional-vaccine-allocation-groups/

Having read the Gov.ie document if you feel we may not be aware of your particular high risk condition please email us on reception@braymedicalcentre.ie with subject line HIGH RISK.

We GPs and our practice staff are proud to be at the forefront of Covid Vaccination in our communities. If we can be of assistance please email reception@braymedicalcentre.ie.
